About us

Cherry Tree Farm Campsite is a family park, over 8 fields, set minutes away from Croyde and Putsborough beaches.  

Most pitches have outstanding views and there are many varieties of birds, squirrels, bats and foxes to spot. 

There are lots of activities nearby including surfing, cycling and boat trips not forgetting walking the spectacular South West Coastal Path.

"Our stay at Cherry Tree Farm in August this year was the best, carefree camping experience we have had for many years.  The site has lovely, spacious pitches with plenty of room to play.  The staff were incredibly hard-working, and nothing was too much trouble.  The fact that the gate was manned gave peace of mind, and there was a really friendly feel to the site.  The toilets, if rather basic, were always clean and well-maintained, and the family-sized showers were great.    It was invaluable to be able to charge up our mobile phones for a small fee for charity, and it was really handy that reception was manned until 11pm.   Croyde Bay was a mere 5-minute walk away and saved a fortune on parking fees!  We had an amazing stay which we hope to repeat next year.  Thank you Cherry Tree Farm!"  The King family, August 2011

We are four women (of a certain age) who have camped here before with our teenagers, but this year decided to make it a girls week away. You allocated us the staff field which was virtually empty with stunning views. Just want to say a massive thank you for the week we spent at Cherry Tree.  I seriously didn't want to leave!
The campsite was so fab and you can tell that you are all fantastic at keeping it that way.  Our pitch was brilliant with superb views too!
I am on the border of booking the whole six weeks holiday I'll have next summer but I think I should check who will look after my cat!

We were camping at your site in August and we enjoyed our stay. The staff you have employed were brilliant. The ice pack and charging phones etc very good idea for charity. I would recommend  this site to anybody wanting to camp in Croyde.

Good Evening  
I would just like to record our thanks for a great weekend.  When we visited your site to make our booking we were looked after by a very efficient, and helpful young lady, who also was on reception when we arrived for the weekend.  The change of pitch was to our advantage, and we had tremendous views, even though the weather was not particularly kind. Everyone working on the campsite had a smile, we did visit one site where I think there was a competition for the best scowl, the reception was very well run, the bins were regularly emptied, and the sinks, toilets, and showers were kept extremely clean, even after some very heavy rain. We would certainly visit your campsite again, and will recommend it to our friends and family.

Hello, I'd just like to comment on how wonderfully beautiful Cherry Tree Campsite is. I've been going there for the past 4 years now, and it is the perfect family get-away. Only a 15 minute walk to the cute little village of Croyde Bay including lovely ice-cream, a post office and pub. Then a 10 minute walk to Croyde Bay beach! There were phone chargers availbable, as well a cold ice. All the toilets and showers are cleaned daily and there are taps for washing up. The staff are lovely too, I'd highly recommend anyone to stay there.

 I would thouroughly recommend cherry tree farm to anybody, the first time i went was with my parents as a child and i absolutely loved it, so much that i took my boyfriend and friends there a few years later and now me and my boyfriend and our own family are looking forward to spending another weekend there, this place will always give us all very fond memories and we look forward to coming back everytime!
